Directions: From the North coast ports, we would travel in the direction of Rennes, Nantes, Niort and St. Jean d'Angely. Bypassing towns in all instances.
Leave St. Jean d'Angley via the bypass on the D939 to Angouleme. At Matha on the bypass, take the D739 to Aigre signposted to the left. After approximately 6km, Gourvillette is signposted to the left. Our Manoir Souhait road signs will point you in the right direction.
When reaching Gourvillette, locate the Mairie (Mayors' Office) a white building, and take the road directly opposite the office signposted to Cresse. After approximately 100 metres, the arch of Manoir Souhait (7 Rue du Chateau d'Eau) can be seen ahead.

rolling vine covered landscape - perfect for cycling and walking. Within easy
reach of the beautiful old harbour town of La Rochelle and the enchanting Iie d'Re,
whilst central to Cognac, Angouleme, & Saintes, superb ancient towns resting on the
River Charente.
